Storyline:

Imagine it's 1941 in the big city of Shanghai, China. Things are tough because Japan has occupied the area. Our main character is a regular guy named Chen Shan. He's clever and survives by finding bits of information and selling it on the streets – basically, he knows how to get by in a tricky situation.

One day, everything changes for Chen Shan. It turns out he looks exactly like a secret agent named Xiao Zheng Guo, who works for the Chinese spy agency (called BIS). Because of this uncanny resemblance, the Japanese spies notice Chen Shan. The leader of the Japanese spies, a man named Huang Mu Wei, sees an opportunity.

Huang Mu Wei wants to use Chen Shan. To force Chen Shan to obey, Huang Mu Wei does something terrible: he kidnaps Chen Shan's beloved sister, Chen Xia. Now, Chen Shan is trapped. The only way he thinks he can save his sister is to do exactly what the Japanese tell him.

So, Chen Shan agrees to become a spy for the Japanese, even though he doesn't want to. They give him special training, teaching him all the secret skills a spy needs. Surprisingly, Chen Shan turns out to be really good at it – he's smart, quick-thinking, and learns fast.

His dangerous mission begins. He has to pretend to be the real spy, Xiao Zheng Guo. Under this fake identity, he must sneak into the headquarters of the Chinese spy agency (BIS) located in another city, Chongqing. His job is to gather secrets for the Japanese. This is incredibly risky. If anyone discovers who he truly is, or if he makes even one tiny mistake, he will almost certainly be killed. He's surrounded by enemies, pretending to be one of their own.

But deep down, Chen Shan is still Chinese. He feels terrible about potentially betraying his own country and helping the Japanese invaders. He's only doing this to save Chen Xia. His heart is torn.

Everything starts to change when Chen Shan meets a woman named Zhang Li. Zhang Li is a strong person with very clear beliefs. She deeply loves her country and believes strongly in fighting against the Japanese occupation.Phneak Ngear Phkar Angkea Sil - Insects Awaken
Spending time with her and seeing her dedication makes Chen Shan think hard about his own actions and what truly matters.

Slowly, influenced by Zhang Li's strong patriotism and his own conscience, Chen Shan starts to understand his duty as a citizen of China. He realizes that just saving his sister isn't enough; he needs to help his country too.
He begins to secretly work against the Japanese from the inside. His mission becomes even more complicated as he tries to help the Chinese side without getting caught by the Japanese or the Chinese agency he's infiltrated.

Chen Shan transforms from a street hustler forced into spying into a true patriot. He finds his courage and decides to fully commit to the fight for China's freedom, becoming willing to risk everything, even his own life, for his country and its people. It's a story about how an ordinary person, caught in extraordinary danger, can find their inner strength and become a hero.
